Rustam Minnikhanov: "Ecology is our future!" A profile platform "Eco Tatarstan" was opened today in Bilyarsk

A profile platform "Eco Tatarstan" was opened today in Bilyarsk Historical and Archaeological Reserve Museum of Alekseevskoe district of Tatarstan with participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, within the framework of the International Educational Forum "Selet". "Ecology is our future! Today, there are specialists among you who can share their experience with you and answer all the questions", acknowledged Rustam Minnikhanov. The President inspected a stationary scientific and educational center "Fensar", a mobile ecological laboratory on sampling and analysis of air samples, where the experts of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan told in detail about the use of this equipment in practice. Moreover, Rustam Minnikhanov visited the IT-laboratory on speech technologies, an educational seminar "Ecology-oriented power plant", and a media-center. Inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology demonstrated a quadrocopter Phantom 3 Professional in action - it is a device with fully integrated intellectual system allowing to observe the surrounding world from a birds eye view in the 4K format. It will be possible to view the filming process and easily correlate the route. According to the fellow workers of the Ministry, a quadrocopter will be an invaluabe asset at hard-to-reach places, or in the event when a violation will have to be registered unnoticed. Hundreds of Forum participants became today public inspectors. The President of Tatarstan acknowledged that it is important to engage as many young people as possible to save the environment. This year, the emphasis of the youth meeting was made on ecological education of the young generation. The topic of the Forum: "From ecology of the soul to ecology of nature". The hosting party planned to discuss all the possible mechanisms of development of the territory of Bilyarsk Reserve Museum, master classes from the leading experts and scientists of Tatarstan and Russia, joint (with the Russian Geographical Society) studies of large expanses of water of the Maly Cheremshan River. A specialized ecological pavillion was installed at the camping site along with multifunctional educational laboratories. An educational program of the youth meetings includes 5 large blocks: "IT", "Personal efficacy", "Career and success management", "Do It Yourself", and "Eco-Tatarstan". The participants are invited to participate in master-classes, quests, creative activities, literature readings and intellectual and sports competitions. As a reminder, the Forum is held this year for the 20th time, and it is the 5th time that it is held on the international level. The most talented youth came to participate in the Forum: 3,500 persons – winners of subject olympiads, scientific conferences and contests – pupils from the Republic of Tatarstan and Russian regions, as well as more than 1,000 students. Moreover, more than 200 fellow nationals from the Near and Far abroad, more than 200 honorable guests, morethan 200 "veterans" of the Selet movement, and about 100 journalists will also take part.
