The awarding ceremony took place today at the Kazan State Energy University within the framework of the contest #ECOSPRING2016.

The Kazan State Energy University won the #ECOSPRING2016 contest in the category "The best Eco-higher educational establishment". The solemn awarding ceremony took place today within the framework of the meeting of the Academic Board. First Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustem Kamalov, and the President of the KSEU, Edward Abdullazyanov, participated in the event. "Ecology and energy are two interconnected disciplines of the life-sustaining activity. It is comforting that the KSEU pays special attention to the ecology-related matters. In general, the results of your everyday activity imply, among other things, that Tatarstan takes one of the leading positions among constituent entities of the Russian Federation with regard to the solution of issues related to energy saving on the system and program level. I have visited the University several times, and I have always been impressed with the Center of Competence and Technologies in the field of energy saving, where the students are trained, the workers of energy field and industrial companies receive advanced training, and studies are carried out. And I would like to emphasize once again that our doors are always open - students of the Energy University can always undertake an internship under the auspices of highly trained professionals of the Ministry of Ecology. And while participating in various events within the framework of the two-month sanitary and ecological campaign, your students can be rightly called ecological specialists", acknowledged Rustem Kamalov.

             As a reminder, it is the first time the #ECOSPRING2016 contest was announced within the framework of the two-month sanitary and ecological campaign. It was held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov.  The best institutions in the category "ECO-higher educational establishment" were announced in the Republic of Tatarstan. The Kazan State Energy University was rated the third.
