Farid Abdulganiev: "Ecology and health are two interconnected disciplines of the life-sustaining activity. So by uniting our efforts today we will be able to ensure healthy and ecology-friendly future". The awarding ceremony took place today at the Kazan State Medical University within the framework of the contest #ECOSPRING2016.

The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiev, awarded the Kazan State Medical University –one of the winners of the#ECOSPRING2016 contest in the category "The best ECO-higher educational establishment" within the framework of the meeting of the Academic Council. The Minister of Health Care of the Republic of Tatarstan, Adel Vafin, the President of the Kazan State Medical University, Alexey Sozinov, the Vice President for Education, Laysan Mukharyamova, the Vice President for Scientific and Innovation Work, Ilshat Mustafin, participated in the solemn ceremony. "It's a pleasure for me to express my gratitude to you today for the active and consistent work in the nature protection issue. Each of you should understand the importance of your contribution. Two months of consistent work means not only the activity on cleaning and beautification of territories of Tatarstan, holding and participation in various campaigns, but, first of all, it means your mindset that has become an example for many others; with such youth as your students today, I can definitely speak of ecology-friendly future in your region", acknowledged Farid Abdulganiev. "The work of medical and ecological specialists has much in common. It is this field of activity that is faced by every citizen of the Republic. And who will understand the importance of the favorable environment for the health better than you. So by uniting our efforts today we will be able to ensure healthy and ecology-friendly future", summed up the Minister for Ecology. 

                As a reminder, it is the first time the #ECOSPRING2016 contest was announcedwithin the framework of the two-month sanitary and ecological campaign. It was held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov.  The best institutions in the category "ECO-higher educational establishment" were announced in the Republic of Tatarstan. The Kazan State Medical University was rated the second.
