Ecological specialists, active participantsof the Spiritual Management of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan, and citizens of Kazan participated in the campaign "Grant the Gift of Life to Paper"

An event "Grant the Gift of Life to Paper" was held within the framework of the campaign "Ramadan is a month of good deeds" under the slogan "Careful attitude to nature is half faith". The event is held by the Centralized Religious Organization of the Spiritual Management of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstantogether with the charity fund "Zakyat". Leading specialist of the Department for Ecological Education and Interaction with Public Organizations under the Ministry of Ecology  and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Elena Gilmizyanova,Deputy Mufti - Chairperson of the Spiritual Management of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Khayrullin, participated in the event. "Such events promote ecological education of the young generation, unite initiatives of citizens, organizations and state authorities in the area of nature protection", acknowledged Elena Gilmizyanova. "We truly hope that this campaign on waste paper collection will revive the good old tradition that will help save the trees and foster responsibility for the future of our planet", summed up Deputy Mufti, Rustam Khayrullin. Collected funds will be donated to purchase food stuffs for low-income families.

The campaign is aimed at attraction of attention of the citizens of Kazan to the problems of ecology and recycling, as well as at encouragement of careful attitude to nature.
