"It is important to enhance work on identification of violations of the nature protection legislation". The Minister for Ecology carried out helicopter overflight across the territory of Tatarstan.

 The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiev, and Deputy Minister for Ecology  - Chief State Inspector for Nature Protection, Fayaz Shakirov, inspected the territories of Vysokaya Gora, Zelenodolsk, Laishevo, Rybnaya Sloboda Municipal Districts of the Republic and Kazan. In the course of one raid, they detected more than 100 facts of violations of the nature protection legislation including illegal extraction of common mineral resources and the sites of unauthorized waste placement. "Successful work on prevention of unauthorized use of mineral resources and liquidation of illegal landfills is possible only if we involve municipal units and, of course, caring citizens", acknowledged Farid Abdulganiev. Following the results of the overflight, inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan will implement the measures of administrative influence, while the information on violations was referred to the heads of the above mentioned municipal units for the relevant measures to be taken.
