Thousands of young guests and citizens of Kazan took part in the "Holiday of eco-pupils - Young nature protectors"

The "Holiday of eco-pupils - Young nature protectors" was held within the framework of the International Day for Protection of Children at the Kazan Kremlin. Elena Gilmizyanova, the Leading Specalist of the Department for Ecological Education and Interaction with Public Organizations under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, participated in the event. Master-classes were organized for children and their parents on origami along witha special ecological flashmob, and an exhibition "Eco-Farm" featuring crafts made of natural materials. Moreover,  performers of the ecological theater "Raduga" ("Rainbow") under the Children's Ecological and Biological Center, as well as pupils of the Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution "Center for Children's Creative Work" of Vakhitovsky district of Kazan, and the Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution "Krasnoyarsk Secondary School", "Special School n.a. V.V. Karpov" of Osinovo village in Zelenodolsk district, the Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution "Verkhny Uslon Secondary School" and pupils of Buinsk district showed their musical performances and the activity of teams of propagandists for the guests The winners of the Republican contest "Green Planet - 2016" were awarded at the end of the event.

The event aimed at promotion of ecological education and development of culture of the love of nature in the young generation.
