A solemn ceremony for awarding of active participants of a sanitary and ecological two-month campaign was held today at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan involving winners of the ECOspring contest, winners and runners-up of the All-Russian Ecological Olympiad and the award "Eco-heritage of Tatarstan. Let's save and augment!" First Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustem Kamalov, Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ilkham Salikhov, participated in the ceremony.
The contest "Ecospring-2016" was announced in the course of the two-month cleaning campaign for the first time. It was held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. The winners in the categories "ECO-school" and "ECO-family" were identified in all municipal districts and regions. The absolute winners were as follows: Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 3" of Menzelinsk. They were awarded with a multimedia projector. The Fedorovs from Zelenodolsk became the best ECO-family of Tatarstan since they actively participated in beautification and landscaping of the native city, carried out various events on cleaning the territories and brought waste paper. A hotel voucher to the Crimea for the whole family was the main prize.
