Coastlines of rivers and water bodies will be cleaned in Tatarstan in the course of the All-Russian campaign "Water of Russia"

The All-Russian Campaign "Water of Russia" will start in Tatarstan on June 1st. It is aimed at cleaning of the coastlines of small rivers and water bodies from litter. This year the campaign will be held for the third time. The campaign is organized by the Interregional Public Organization "Nature Protection Association" in the framework of implementation of the project under the Federal Target Program "Development of the water economic complex of the Russian Federation until 2020". In 2016, the coastlines of small rivers and water bodies will be cleaned on the territory of all constituent units of the Russian Federation from June 1 to September 30. It is planned that about half a million people from 80 regions of the country will participate in it. In 2015, more than 300,000 people from 72 regions of Russia participated in the campaign, more than 800 articles and coverages were published, and the coastlines of more than 3,500 water bodies were cleaned.

            The results of the campaign in all the regions will be published on the portal "Water of Russia" (http://voda.org.ru), which was created for the coverage of implementation of the federal target project "Water of Russia".
