The Ministry of Ecology announces the start of the contest on the Volga Day

May 20th - the contest organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan starts on the Volga Day. In order to participate, it is necessary to make an original photo of the Volga River and to create a slogan on careful attitude and protection of the main river of our country - the Volga River.  All citizens of the Republic can participate in it. The contest is held in the social media. In order to participate it is necessary to subscribe or be a follower of the account of the hosting party, to post a contest photo under the hashtag #ECOVOLGA (#ECOVOLGA2016), and to mention the account of the hosting party under the photo - @MINISTERSTVO_ECOLOGIIRT; participants' profiles should be open. The pieces of work are also accepted in the official group Vkontakte "Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan".

The results of the Contest will be summarized by the Day of Environmental Protection (June 5th). The winner of the contest will be able to try himself/herself as an ecological specialist – he/she will go on a tour together with friends around the Volga on the eco-analytical vessel "Flamingo". Instructors of the Tatar Branch of the Russian Geographical Society will hold master classes on scuba diving.
