A violation was revealed today in Nizhny Biyabash village of Shambulykhchinsky rural settlement of Apastovo municipal district in the framework of a two-month sanitary and ecological campaign by the Trans-Kama Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Farm livestock (birds) are kept on the left side of the River Biya that is the afflux of the Sviyaga River at a distance of 11.5 meters from the water line of this water body. Inspectors drew up a protocol against an individual according to Article 8.13, part 1, of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation "Violation of the water protection regime that might entail pollution of water bodies or other hazardous events". Apastovo District Court of the Republic of Tatarstan decided to impose a duty on the individual to remove the pen with farm livestock (birds) beoynd the boundaries of the water protection area of the Biya River. The offender was held administratively liable.
