The large-scale campaign "Clean shores to our rivers" was held in Naberezhnye Chelny

The large-scale campaign "Clean shores to our rivers" was held in Naberezhnye Chelny under the slogan "Lakes and rivers of our motherland are our wealth!" The event is organized in the framework of a two-month sanitary and ecological campaign.

Specialists of the Cis-Kama Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with students of Naberezhnye Chelny Branch of Kazan Federal University and the Engineering and Economic College under Naberezhnye Chelny  Institute, as well as active participants of Naberezhnye Chelny Branch of the All-RussiaN Ecological Movement "Musora.bolshe.Net" ("No.more.litter") cleaned the left coast of the Nizhnekamsk Reservoir in the area of the National Park "Nizhnyaya Kama" from empty bottles and PE bags using the technique of selective collection. All in all, 3 km of the coastal area were cleaned in the course of the event, and 5 cubic meters of litter were collected.  The aim of the event was to bring the territory of the Republic into compliance with the requirements of ecological and sanitary & epidemiological safety of the population.
