"Plant yourtree - do a good deed!" Today, ecological specialists participated in the Republican nature protection campaign "A day of forest planting".

Today, fellow workers of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan participated in the traditional Republican nature protection campaign "A Day of forest planting" that was held at Matyushinsky forestry near Voronovka village. By the efforts of ecological specialists, more than 300 seedlings of coniferous species were planted. "Through participation in such campaigns, by joint efforts, we will be able to attract attention of the public to the problems of preservation, reproduction and augmentation of forest resources", acknowledged fellow workers of the Ministry of Ecology. The campaign is held annually by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan to foster careful attitude to forest, as well as to create favorable sanitary and ecological situation in forests located on the territory of the Republic.

            The same event was held in Naberezhnye Chelny in the framework of the Republican nature protection campaign. Fellow workers of the Cis-Kama Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology together with citizens andrepresentatives of the Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny planted 30 fir trees on the territory adjacent to the Melekes River. Moreover, a Saturday work campaign was held in the water protection area of the Melekes River where more than 100 people took part.
