The applications are now accepted for the career enhancement training program on: "Professional training of persons to be able to work with hazardous waste"

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Institute for Continuing Professional Education "Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education 'Kazan National Research Technological University'" carries out career enhancement training according to the following program: "Professional training of persons to be able to work with hazardous waste". The event is aimed at professional training of managers and experts of the companies involved in economic or other activity in order for them to obtain theoretical or practical knowledge related to severization of requirements to the skills profile, as well as to the necessity to master the state-of-art methods of solution of professional tasks in the field of ecological safety assurance when dealing with production and consumption waste. The program is optimized for 112 hours.

The lectures and practical classes are held by the leading specialists of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Department of the Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Natural Resource Use for the Republic of Tatarstan, higher-education teaching personnel of the Engineering Ecology Department of Kazan National Research Technological University', as well as the leading specialists of specialized organizations.

Executive summary of the training program:

- Legal framework and control over the activity related to waste management.

- Stages of waste management: waste properties, class of hazard, passportization, standardization of waste formation, placement restriction, State Waste Inventory, audit of waste in a company, activity licensing, as well as technical and technological documentation.

- Economic mechanisms for regulation of waste management activity.

- Arrangement of management of solid domestic waste.

- Transportation of hazardous waste, and etc.

A certificate on career enhancement is issued at the end of the training.
