Fishermen reported on a takeover of the coastal area of Bogorodskoe Laketo the ecological specialists

Inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received a report from local fishermen on illegal takeover of the coastal area of Bogorodskoe Lake in Pestretsy district of Kazan. Today, Head of the State Inspection for Ecological Surveillance, Almaz Zakirov, as well as inspectors of the Central Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology inspected the coastal area of the lake located in the gardeners' partnership "Domostroitel" in Bogorodskoe village. In the course of the raid, inspectors registered violations of Article 8.12.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Failure to comply with the obligation to provide citizens with free access to the public water body and its coastal area") and Article 7.6 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Unauthorized takeover of the water body or its use in breach of the established terms"). "Many offenders try to settle the issue without legal proceedings by opening the access on their own after receiving an instruction on obligatory demolition of illegal constructions", acknowledged Head of the State Inspection for Ecological Surveillance under the Ministry of Ecology, Almaz Zakirov. - "Day after day, inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology carry out routine monitorings and ecological raids. Helicopter overflights have also been arranged for more detailed and operative work". Ecological specialists drew up the act of ecological inspection in response to the violation, and they also measured the distance from the fence to the water mark. The owners of the given land plots will be identified. Following the results of the investigation, the persons involved in the administrative case will be held liable.
