"Young plants in exchange for waste paper" Ecological specialists collected 1.8 tons of waste paper in Almetyevsk.

A large-scale campaign "Let's save a tree together!" was held in Almetyevsk. By efforts of the Executive Committee of Almetyevsk Municipal District represented by the Department for Ecology and Nature Use together with "Ecoservice" PJSC, 1,200 young plants were purchased for the citizens of the district including 300 cedar seedlings, 500 poplar seedlings and 400 apple-tree seedlings.  Experts of the South-Eastern Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan participated in it together with volunteers of the youth ecological movement "Budet Chisto!". From the very early morning, fellow workers of the Department for Ecology, inspectors of the South-Eastern Department and volunteers of the "Budet Chisto" movement exchanged seedlings for waste paper. All in all, they collected 1.8 tons of waste paper. Since the campaign is a charity event, the funds raised from waste paper collection will be transferred to the orphanages located in Almetyevsk district.
