Farid Abdulganiev participated in the extended meeting of the Board of the Ministry Natural Resources of the Russian Federation

An extended meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation was held today in Moscow on the "Reults of work of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the RF in 2015 and the tasks set for 2016". It included members of the Presidium namely Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the Russian Federation, Alexander Khloponin, Chairperson of the Committee of the State Duma under the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation for the Natural Resources, Nature Use and Ecology, Vladimir Kashin, the Minister for Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia Sergey Donskoy, State Secretary - Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation Svetlana Radchenko, and Chairperson of the Public Board under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, Nikolay Kasimov. Head of the Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Natural Resource Use in the Russian Federation, Artem Sidorov, the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiev, as well as representatives of regional nature protection authorities of the Russian Federation also participated in the Board meeting.

The Minister for Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation Sergey Donskoy made the main report on the results of work in 2015 and the main trends of activity for 2016. He acknowledged certain priority tasks for the year 2016 in the area of water resources: implementation of the Federal Target Program "Development of the water-economic complex in the Russian Federation in 2012-2020"; further work on development of the system for accounting and control of the extent of emissions of greenhouse gases in the Russian Federation for the purposes of incremental implementation of the national system of accounting and regulation of emissions of greenhouse gases; assurance of further work on creation of the state fund of the information on the state ecological monitoring; actualization of the Water Strategy of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2020; optimization of the procedure of auctions on acquisition of the right to conclude agreements on water use; establishments of the procedure for reservation of water bodies for the state and municipal needs.
