The international forum and exposition "ECOTECH" devoted to the matters of "green" economics and nature protection technologies started in Moscow today. The exposition of the Republic of Tatarstan devoted to the solution of eco-related matters will be presented by the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiev. The event is held for the professional audience engaged in the process of solution of nature protection tasks on the example of a specific segment of the international market of ecological technologies, goods, works and services. The exposition and discussions will touch upon all the nature protection areas of focus: water, air, waste, land resources, energy preservation, "green" standards, eco-transport, forest resources and urban environment, as well as ecological monitoring, control and ecological services.
The "ECOTECH" business program will include business events of various formats: plenary sessions, panel discussions, business round tables, and briefings. An open accounting session of the Federal Ecological Board will take place including representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation and the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage, and the ministers of regional nature protection authorities (including the Republic of Tatarstan). "ECOTECH" will gather at its venue representatives of government bodies and regional authorities, top-managers and specialists of Russian and foreign companies, as well as experts of the world ecological community, leading researchers and developers. It is planned that more than 1,500 companies and organizations will participate in the event covering about 50 regions of the Russian Federation, as well as 20 foreign countries including Germany, China, Denmark, Finland, Japan and so on. The event is organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation.
