The International Day of Mother Earth was celebrated by students and teachers of a Multidisciplinary College of Chistopol with a large-scale concert

A holiday held at the State Autonomous Professional Educational Institution "Chistopol Multidisciplinary College" was devoted to the International Day of Mother Earth.

Experts of the Volga-Kama Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan participated in the event.

The students presented a concert program - they sang songs, read poems devoted to nature and its protection.

The holiday aimed at ecological education of children, formation of responsibility for their actions with regard to nature and the surrounding world. "Such campaigns help children feel a connection to everything and everybody living on the Earth", acknowledged participants of the event.

Ecological specialists expressed their gratitude to the teachers for active participation and involvement of children in nature protection events and awarded them with Certificates of Merit and souvenirs.
