Solemn cleaning A Saturday work campaign at Admiralteyskaya Sloboda was held to the sound of "Murakami"

More than 2,000 citizens of Tatarstan participated today in the Saturday work campaign on cleaning of the territory of Admiralteyskaya Sloboda. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, also took part in the large-scale event. He familiarized with a plan of work on ecological reclamation of the Admiralteyskiy Pond. Rustam Minnikhanov acknowledged that it is important to eliminate all the potential sources of water pollution having set a task for the ecological specialists to keep special control of the facility. As for right now, the pond is found in a very complicated ecological state, but it has all the potential for being reclaimed, acknowledged the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources, Farid Abdulganiev. He said that a large-scale cleaning campaign was held to clean the coastline area of the water body and the work would be done to clean bed deposits. Divers of the Russian Geographical Society organized submerging to study the bottom of the Admiralteysky pond - a map of the pond was compiled to mark the sites with the greatest waste accumulation.

Moreover, the President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, planted a tree today on the territory of Admiralteyskaya Sloboda in the framework of the project "Reclamation of the Korabelnaya grove". The President was joined by deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Marat Bariev, Ildar Gilmutdinov, Deputy Volga Interregional Nature Protection Prosecutor Oleg Daminov, Head of the State Veterinarian Department under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan - Chief State Veterinarian Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan Almaz Khisamutdinov, Head of the Department of the Federal Veterinary And Phytosanitary Monitoring Service for the Republic of Tatarstan Nurislam Khabipov, Head of the Department of the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing for the Republic of Tatarstan Marina Patyashina, and the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Almas Nazirov.  

Hundreds of students, volunteers, representatives of public organizations, fellow workers of the Ministry of Ecology, members of the Russian Geographical Society, representatives of ministries and authorities, as well as nature protection structures of the Republic of Tatarstan participated in the cleaning of shores from litter. The most active participants who collected the greatest amount of litter, were awarded with prizes: bikes and tents.

Students of Raifa Vocational School organized a master class. Everyone who felt like it could learn how to make a birdhouse.

A concert of "Murakami" group, a three-time champion of Russia in bike trialsSergey Banderovwas organized for the participants of the Saturday work campaign, and everyone could try soldier's porridge - a mobile kitchen trailer was working.

All in all, 250 thousand citizens of Tatarstan went out to participate in the spring cleaning of the Republic.
