The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiev, awarded the most active and creative participants of the #ECOSPRING2016 campaign with valuable prizes today in Kazan at the central venue of the city Saturday work campaign. The winners obtained smart-phones and tablets with pre-installed "People's control" app. He emphasized that a very uneasy task was set before the contest commission - a thousand of publications were presented for review, and each one of them demonstrated true inclination to make a contribution into the noble cause of preservation of nature of the motherland. "Everyone participated in the event from nurseries to the largest organizations in the Republic". As a reminder, the Ministry of Ecology announced a contest for active participants of Saturday work campaigns and nature protection campaigns in the framework of a two-month sanitary and ecological campaign. To participate, one was to post his/her photo or a video spot from the Saturday work campaign under #ECOSPRING2016hashtag .

The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from Kazan residents through the People's Control system about an unauthorized landfill. The inspectors of the Central Department promptly went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping household waste on Krutovskaya Street.
