#ECOSpring2016 has been carried out in Almetyevsk

Ecological specialists cleaned inner-bloc territories on Gagarina, Radischeva and Lenina streets in Almetyevsk today in the framework of a two-month sanitary and ecological campaign. It's no coincidence that this territory was chosen - it is on this site that the pupils registered unauthorized waste placement site and referred it to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan through the "School eco-patrol" system.

Inspectors of the South-Eastern territorial department together with the Department for Ecology and Natural Resources Use under Almetyevsk Municipal District, volunteers of the youth ecological movement "BUDETCHISTO!" cleaned inner-bloc territories and garage cooperatives having removed litter (empty bottles, PE bags, as well as other domestic waste and bulk waste).

The total of 20m3 of litter were removed. Moreover, 3 units of machinery were engaged in the cleaning.

The aim of the event was to bring the territory of the Republic into compliance with the requirements of ecological and sanitary & epidemiological safety of the population.
