A large-scale Wednesday working campaign was held in Buinsk to clean and put everything in order. Pupils of all schools of the city went out to help cleaning. "Today, hundreds of labor teams from various companies and organizations, public movements and students' teams took up the initiative to participate in Saturday and Wednesday work campaigns. I won't be mistaken if I say that dozens of large-scale campaigns are held in Tatarstan on a daily basis to make everything clean, where thousands citizens of the Republic participate, acknowledged Minister for Ecology, Farid Abdulganiev. - A series of campaigns are held on cleaning from litter of specially protected natural areas, city streets, parks, forestlands, territories of educational institutions, children's and sports playgrounds, as well as public recreation places for citizens, coastlines; moreover, the campaigns on planting of trees, collection of waste and separate collection of recyclables are also organized. Out task is not only to put the territory into adequate sanitary state, but to also promote ecological education of the young generation, join the initiatives of citizens, organizations and state authorities to protect the environment. Not only do Saturday work campaigns help clean streets and yards from litter, but they also play an important role in development of patriotism, respectful attitude to one's own city, and they serve as a positive example for the young generation”, emphasized the Minister.
All in all, 11 sites of unauthorized waste placement have been so far detected in Buinsk after the start of the two-month sanitary and ecological campaign, whereof 6 sites have already been liquidated, as it was reported today by Head of the Trans-Volga Territorial Department Nikolqy Vasin to the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev.
