Pupils are up-and-doing - a pupil from Kazan informed on a large landfill on Zalesnaya str.

A report on an unauthorized landfill near a large trading complex in Kazan was received today by inspectors through the "School eco-patrol" system. A pupil made a picture of the site of offense with a position fix, so ecological specialists didn't have trouble finding it. Specialists of the Central Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan registered violation in Kirovsky district of Kazan on Zalesnaya str. and qualified it according to Article 8.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Failure to comply with ecological and sanitary&epidemiological requirements in the course of management of production and consumption waste, the substances destroying the ozone layer, as well as other hazardous substances"). Amounts of fines:

- against citizens - from 1,000 to 2,000 rubles;

 - against officials - from 10,000 to 30,000 rubles;

- against persons carrying out entrepreneurial activity without formation of a legal entity - from 30,000 to 50,000 rubles (or administrative suspension of activity for up to 90 days);

- against legal entities - from 100,000 to 250,000 rubles (or administrative suspension of activity for up to 90 days);

Inspectors identified cadastral number of the land plot where the landfill is located, and together with the Department of the Federal Service of State Registration, Land Register and Mapping for the Republic of Tatarstan they will try to identify the owner of the land plot. Following the results of the investigation, persons involved in the administrative case will be held liable.
