"The international airport is the air gate of the Republic, and so the first impression of the Republic starts right here", say fellow workers of the airport. In such a way, today, half of all the fellow workers of the air harbor went out to clean its territory.

"Saturday work campaigns are held here often - every Thursday fellow workers clean and beautify the assigned territories (a certain area is assigned to each airport service). As a rule, the campaign "Clean Thursday" starts on April 1stand goes on until the first snow. A huge territory of the airport and the adjacent territories are divided into 42 sections - not only airport services, but also third-party organizations working here are responsible for the cleanliness.

The territory was cleaned today from litter, and starting next week they will start whitewashing the curbs.

According to the Press Secretary of the International Airport "Kazan" Adel Gataullin, "administration of the airport understands the importance of maintenance of the environment in the proper state, and they also understand the associated ecological liability". Top management of the airport take all the required measures to prevent pollution of the environment. "Together with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan we carry out ecological monitoring. The workers of all the services and subdivisions of the air harbor regularly carry out Saturday work campaigns despite weather conditions in the framework of the two-month sanitary and ecological  campaign announced in the Republic to ensure sanitary cleaning of the airport territory. Moreover, Saturday work campaigns promote team building", concluded Adel Gataullin.
