"Let's make the world more kind!" - a cleaning campaign on the territory of a boarding school No. 4 in Kazan was held under such a slogan. The event is organized in the framework of the Ecological Knowledge Day and the Republican voluntary campaign "Spring week of kindness - a relay of good acts". The campaign started with the welcoming work of the leading specialist of the Department of Ecological Education and Interaction with Public Organizations under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Elena Gilmizyanova. She acknowledged that the event is annually held by the Ministry of Ecology. On this day ecological lessons, labor landing troops, class hours are held at educational institutions to promote ecological knowledge, inform the public on the state of things in the field of ecological safety and on the state of the environment. Having equipped themselves with all necessary equipment, students of Kazan vocational school of information technologies and communications together with students of the Russian International Tourism Academy and their mentors cleaned the territory of the boarding school from litter, empty bottles and PE bags. "A good deed is an act of kindness that delivers happiness to everyone around us. One can commit good acts both for a person and for the environment. But such deeds make others happy only when they are committed consciously without compelling and extortion, i.e. voluntarily. Only unselfish deeds that don't require appraisal and award can make the soul happy", acknowledge the students.

The voluntary campaign "Spring week of kindness - a relay of good acts" aims at involvement of the citizens of the Republic of Tatarstan, in particular young people, into voluntary activity and implementation of positive events aimed at solution of socially important problems.
