Ecological specialists arranged "Open House" in Nizhnekamsk

Specialists of the Trans-Kama Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan arranged "Open House" for administration and freshmen of the State Autonomous Professional Educational Institution "Vocational School of Petrochemistry and Oil Refining" in Nizhnekamsk. To obtain practical skills, fellow workers of the Ministry arranged a tour for the teaching staff and students around the departments of analysis of industrial emissions and air, water and soil analyses, as well as physical and chemical analytical methods, biological and supervisory control. Experts of the inspection told about sampling and analysis of samples of natural and sewage waters, soil, air and industrial emissions, they familiarized with physical and chemical analytical methods, biotesting and hydrobiological tests. Moreover, the experts responded to students' questions regarding state activity in the field of nature protection.

The events are carried out by the Ministry's fellow workers on a routine basis in order to develop ecology-oriented mindset in the young generation and to ensure career quidance.
