Saturday work campaign as a method of ECO-upbringing The youth of Tatarstan went out to clean the territories

One of the central streets of Kazan - Vishnevskogo str. - became today the venue of a large-scale cleaning campaign held under the aegis of Kazan City Hall in the framework of a two-month sanitary and ecological campaign. Fellow workers of the companies, road services, students and pupils of educational institutions of the city went out to participate in the spring cleaning of territories from litter and last-year grass.

      In particular, freshman and sophomore year students of the State Autonomous Professional Educational Institution "Kazan Energy College" participated in the cleaning campaign together with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. According to the tutor - Deputy Headmaster for Discipline, Svetlana Fugina, - all in all, about 50 people, both pupils and students, went out to clean the territories. "A long-term cooperation relates the college with the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic, - told Svetlana Fugina. - Not only do we hold such joint campaigns, but we also participate in various events and contests organized by the Ministry of Ecology for pupils. Such events are very interesting for our students". She also added that eco-oriented events promote development of a citizen and a patriot of the motherland: "Ecological education is very important with regard to development of the personality of a future specialist. This is our first attempt to hold such a campaign, but the sanitary and ecological campaign goes on, and we believe that all the students of our college will participate in it".
