The II Republican Youth Ecological Conference was held in Kazan

Students, postgrads, young scientists and researchers participated in the II Republican Youth Ecological Research Conference. The event was held at the Institute for Problems of Natural Resources Use and Ecology under the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan. First Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustem Kamalov, participated in the conference. The work touched upon the following areas of focus: 1) Ecology, natural resources use and sustainable development; 2) Legal framework for the assurance of rational natural resources use. Following the results of the conference, all face-to-face participants received certificates, while the best reports will be awarded with diplomas and published in the Russian magazine of applied ecology (Russian Science Citation Index). The event aimed at popularization of science among young people, attraction of public attention to the problems of young scientists, as well as encouragement of talented aspiring scientists.
