The large-scale Wednesday cleaning campaign was held today in Kazan under the slogan “Cleanliness in the soul means cleanliness all around”.

More than 50 fellow workers of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan participated in the large-scale Wednesday cleaning campaign held in the framework of a two-month sanitary and ecological campaign. Having equipped themselves with shovels, rakes and brushes, fellow workers of the Ministry cleaned the territory from litter, dry wood, fallen leaves, and they also took care of bushes and greenery. Within several hours about 60 bags of litter were collected. "It has become a good tradition for the Ministry to carry out Wednesday and Saturday work campaigns. Each time the whole team goes out to clean with enthusiasm, since a clean and orderly territory around the building makes happy not only us, but also visitors of the Ministry. We love our city and our Republic, and we would like for Tatarstan to become even more beautiful and clean, although it is not possible without personal contribution of each of us", acknowledged fellow workers of the Ministry urging everyone to participate in Saturday work campaigns and nature protection campaigns. 

The Wednesday work campaign was also supported by representatives of companies, road services, educational institutions, as well as local public utility services, correctional facilities and others.Large-scale cleaning campaign was also held at the "Locomotive" beach.

As a reminder, the Republican spring cleaning will be held on April 23rd under the slogan “Cleanliness in the soul means cleanliness all around”. The aim of the event is to bring the territory of the Republic into compliance with the requirements of ecological and sanitary & epidemiological safety of the population.
