The Republican contest was announced for non-commercial organizations participating in the implementation of socially important projects to obtain grants of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan

Non-commercial organizations that have been carrying out their activity for at least 1 year before the contest can participate in it. The following non-commercial organizations are not allowed to participate: political parties and movements, labor unions, state and municipal institutions, as well as non-commercial organizations, in relation whereto the decision on liquidation or re-organization was made.

 The contest is held in the following categories:

I. On "Development of the civil society institution and public local self-governance, and citizens' right protection":

1     "Development of the infrastructure of the sector of socially oriented non-commercial organizations";

2      "Socialization of persons released from prison";

3     "Interaction of non-commercial organizations with state authorities and local self-governance authorities to solve the tasks related to anti-extremism activity".

II. On "Education, civic & national and spiritual & moral upbringing of young people, prevention of negative events among adolescents and young people"; “Development of civic consciousness and patriotism among young people”.

III. On "Enhancement of inter-ethnic and inter-confessional relations":

1     "Development of inter-ethnic cooperation, preservation of distinctive character, culture, languages and traditions of peoples living in the Republic of Tatarstan";

2     "Development of inter-confessional tolerance".

IV. On "Protection of family, childhood and motherhood, social support of veterans and physically challenged people, and social services";

1     "Socialization of people with special development needs";

2     "Prevention of social orphanhood";

3     "Propaganda of family values and preservation of moral & spiritual traditions";

4     "Longevity: pro-active attitude and creative work".

V. On "Ecology and environmental protection': "Development of ecological culture of the population of the Republic of Tatarstan".

 The applications are to be submitted before April 19, 2016.
