Twelve (12) cubic meters of waste were collected today from the coast of Almetyevsk water reservoir

The campaign "Clean shores to our rivers" was held today by ecological specialists in Almetyevsk. The campaign is organized in the framework of a two-month sanitary and ecological campaign. Inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with Municipal Budgetary Institution "Department of Natural Resources Management and Environmental Protection of Almetyevsk Municipal District", students of Almetyevsk Polytechnical School, volunteers of the youth ecological movement "BudetChisto" ("It will be clean") cleared the shore of the Almetyevsk water reservoir from litter, empty bottles, and PE bags. All in all, 12 cubic meters of litter were removed from the territory of the water reservoir. "Lakes and rivers of our motherland are our wealth, and we should protect it. It is necessary to prevent pollution of water resources, to carry out routine monitoring of their state", acknowledged participants of the cleaning campaign. The aim of the event is to bring the territory of the Republic into compliance with the requirements of ecological and sanitary & epidemiological safety of the population.
