More than 140 violations of the nature protection legislation were revealed in the course of a helicopter overflight

"It is important that the efforts be intensified in the course of a two-month sanitary and ecological campaign to reveal the violations of the nature protection legislation; and each illegal landfill should be entered into the "Ecological map of Tatarstan" - all the information should be publicly available to the citizens of the Republic", such a task was set by the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiev. These days, the amount of red marks on the eco-map will increase. A helicopter overflight took place the other day; the Minister Farid Abdulganiev and Deputy Minister Fayaz Shakirov inspected the territory of Aktanysh, Agryz, Alkeevsky, Aksubaevo, Alekseevskoe, Elabuga, Zainsk, Mamadysh, Mendeleevsk, Menzelinsk, Nizhnekamsk, Novosheshminsk, Sarmanovo, Spasskoe, Tukaevo, and Chistopol municipal units of the Republic of Tatarstan. More than 140 violations of the nature protection legislation were revealed in the course of only this one raid, whereof 100 violations relate to the restriction of the free access of citizens to a public water body and its coastal area.

Today, following the results of the overflight, inspectors of the Cis-Kama and Volga-Kama Territorial Departments under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan organized the relevant raids - the measures of administrative influence will be implemented with regard to the violations. The information on the violations will be referred to the Heads of the above mentioned municipal units for them to implement adequate measures.
