The matters of ecological improvement of the quality of life of citizens will be discussed in St. Petersburg
Purification and rational use of water resources, innovation technologies related to the management of production waste, the activity on protection of natural resources - these and other issues are on the agenda of the XVI International Forum "Ecology of a Big City". The event will be held on April 6-8, 2016 at the Congress and Exhibition Center "ExpoForum" in St. Petersburg. The Forum is held under the auspices and with participation of the Committee for the Use of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection and Safety of St. Petersburg, the Government of Leningrad Region and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
The main areas of focus:
- Waste management: technologies and equipment
- Rational use of water resources, purification of sewage waters, water preparation, wastewater disposal, and water supply
- Ecological reclamation of the territories and water bodies
- Ecological monitoring
- Information support of the nature protection activity
- Ecological technologies in construction
- The Parkway of "Green technologies"
The main aim of the Forum "Ecology of a Big City" is to promote and implement in Russia the advanced nature protection equipment and technologies that provide for the conservation of natural resources, enhancement in the ecological safety and improvement in the quality of life of the citizens of big cities.
