The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan familiarized with the course of the two-month sanitary and ecological campaign in Nizhnekamsk. Students and workers of the managing companies of Nizhnekamsk organized today the spring cleaning on the territory of Korabelnaya grove. "He who washes the floor wipes his feet", acknowledged Farid Abdulganiev, - that's why it is planned to engage as many citizens of the Republic as possible in Saturday work campaigns in the framework of the two-month sanitary and ecological campaign". The most active participants will be awarded, We will choose the best school, the best managing company, and the best enterprise. And according to the Minister, the best family will get a chance to go to the Crimea this summer. Moreover, the Ministry of Ecology announced a contest for active participants of Saturday work campaigns and nature protection campaigns in social media. In order to participate, one should be subscribed to the official Instagram account of the Ministry of Ecology and post his/her photo or a video spot from the Saturday work campaign or any other nature protection campaign under the hashtag #ECOSPRING2016. The most active and creative participants of the campaign will win. The main prize - iPad Air. The awarding ceremony will be held on April 23, 2016 at the central site of the Municipal Saturday work campaign in Kazan.
A two-month sanitary and ecological campaign in Nizhnekamsk will be held in two stages, as it is reported on the official website of the city. On April 13-14th, snow piles will be broken up on lawns, ice will be crushed along curbs, litter and brushes will be picked up. The main municipal Saturday work campaign will be held on April 27-28 including cleaning of all the established sites from litter, removal of sweepings and dust along curbs, as well as their cleaning and whitewashing. Moreover, trees and poles of street lighting will be whitewashed as well. Large-scale Saturday work campaigns and events on cleaning of territories will also be continued during summer - Nizhnekamsk will celebrate its 50th anniversary in September.
