The Center of ecological and social programs, an eco-group "Tayga", a Social and Ecological Union under the aegis of the Department of Natural Resources Management and Environmental Protection of Moscow invite to participate in the contest of scenarios for the eco-quest carried out in the framework of the program "Youth for the nature of Moscow".
Pieces of work by authors from various regions of Russia are encouraged.
The age of participants:from 15 to 30 years of age (inclusive).
The time-frame of the contest: March 10 - April 30, 2016
Aims of the contest:
The eco-quest scenario should be directly or indirectly related to the problems of the environmental pollution, and it should look for the ways of their solution. The quest can be used both outdoors (including the elements of cleaning of the territory/forest) and indoors. The scenario should be designed in the following manner: 1.5-2 hours, minimal budget, simplicity and comprehensibility, as well as ecological benefit. Inclusion of the elements of interaction and getting answers, comments, as well as support from municipal/state/executive authorities into the scenario/task of the quest will be an asset.
The application should contain: quest name; the information on the author (full name, date of birth, the area of activity/interests, the region of residence); all the required stage props and the personnel to carry out the quest; the amount of people involved; quest scenario (a full algorithm of carrying out the quest in order to be able to implement the project in the future); and author's contact information (e-mail, telephone number).
The applications are accepted in a free form with wordage not exceeding 5 pages in OpenOffice, Libre Office (standard font Times, size 10-12, interval 1-1.5). It is allowed to present graphical sketches of buildings to facilitate perception.
The following criteria will be evaluated to identify the winners: distinctiveness and novelty of a scenario, exciting tasks, the possibility to work in a team, the amount of tasks, correspondence of the scenario with a topic of ecology and nature protection, as well as the possibility to implement the project and its usability for the environment.
An "intelligent" electronic bracelet Jawbone Up will serve as the prize for the best scenario. The best pieces of work will be posted in the final reference book of the Program. The winners will be invited to the eco-forum, in the framework whereof exclusive master classes will be held along with unique tours; each one will receive prizes and souvenirs.
The winners will be awarded during the Moscow Youth Ecological Forum on October 21-23, 2016.
