The V All-Russian Contest of children's animalistic projects

5 April 2016, Tuesday

The Center for Wildlife Protection invites all the pupils of any age, as well as preschoolers, to participate in the V All-Russian contest of children's animalistic projects named after V.M. Smirin.

The topic of the contest for 2016 - "A trip of a young natural scientist: let's observe the behavior of animals". It is distinguished by the fact that it shouldn't be a separate drawing, but it should be a comprehensive project preferably elaborated by a group of pupils. The pupils, as true natural scientists, should go on a nature trip, to a Zoo or to a scientific laboratory - it should be a real project related to their own observations, or an imaginary project based on adequate acquaintance with animals through books, films, video spots or websites. The participants should feature in their pieces of work what they managed to find out, what they experienced and discovered during the trip; they should also try to present in their papers the situations, wherein the behavior of animals is the brightest and the most typical.

Composite papers under the auspices of a teacher are also accepted. The paper should include a brief description of the project, a series of drawings of pupils or preschoolers with brief commentaries, as well as animalistic tasks and an accompanying text that should comply with the requirements of the contest task.

The pieces of work are accepted until April 25, 2016
