Ecological specialists carried out another raid today to Arkhiereyskoe Lake located in Tarlashi village of Laishevo district. As a reminder, this March, inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources pf the Republic of Tatarstan revealed more than 30 violations in the coastal area of the lake. The obligation to provide the citizens with access to the water body and its coastal area was breached, which violates Article 8.12.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation; moreover, state inspectors registered violations of Article 7.6 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation "Unauthorized occupation of a water body or its use in breach of the set terms". At present, more than 80% of owners of land plots, whose territory was fenced, thus restricting the access to the water body, demolish their constructions. From 5 to 10 days are given by law to demolish the illegal buildings on the basis of an instruction. If the fence is a metal one, the owner should demolish it within 5 days, and if it is made of brick (concrete) the owner has 10 days. Should the owner fail to meet the deadline, the claim is lodged to the court on correction of the breach of the nature protection legislation. As a reminder, according to Article 6 of the Water Code of the Russian Federation, a 20-m coastal belt along the beach line of a water body is meant for public use.
Comprehensive exercises aimed at working out actions in case of emergency oil spills were held in the Zainsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In 11 months, 5,691 messages were received at the Republican Public Environmental Reception. Of these, 5,315 appeals are 93.3% of all received appeals, which have already been resolved.
