An agreement was signed today at the Ministry of Ecology between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural  Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Department of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan.

According to the Minister for Ecology, Farid Abdulganiev, "The Agreement regulated the interaction with regard to: exchange of the advantageous information; carrying out of interdepartmental events in the form of discussions, working meetings, learning and teaching classes, consultations, and round tables; exchange of the work experience, normative acts and regulatory and administrative documents, as well as methodological recommendations; development and implementation of joint plans and complex events aimed at solution of the tasks entrusted with either of the Parties.

Following the results of signing an Agreement, it is planned to shape the interaction on informing the Tax Service and the Ministry of Ecology on the facts of violation of the nature protection legislation by economic units in case of their revelation; provision of the information on the outstanding amount on mineral extraction tax at the companies with a license to extract common mineral resources; and informing on provision by the companies of the tax reports requested by the Ministry. In the event no legal entity is found at the address indicated in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRLE), the Ministry shall send the information on the given fact to the Department of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan to further check the data included into the USRLE".

"It is a very important and serious Agreement, acknowledged Marat Safiullin, Head of the Department of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan. - It fully complies with the concept of work of the Department of the Federal Tax Service in the context of transparency and interaction with all federal and regional authorities. We believe that this Agreement will become a serious shield protecting from ecological violations, and, what is even more important, it will allow our citizens to live in a more ecologically clean Republic", added Marat Safiullin.

"Signing of the given Agreement implies logical continuation of work held at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Department of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan, informed Farid Abdulganiev.  - All together, owing to the information provided by the Tax Service, we operatively, in hot pursuit, worked off the violations in the field of nature protection, and today, upon signing this Agreement, we mean that we will ensure more operative exchange of the information that is so much needed both to us, and to the Tax Service in order to prevent the violations in the future". The Minister cited as an example the work on the refund of a tax on extraction of common mineral resources: in the framework of the Agreement, the Ministry will be able to work off such violations with greater authority – “the authorities enjoyed by the Tax Service".

The Ministry of Ecology have already signed such agreements with the companies of the nature-oriented block. In such a way, according to Farid Abdulganiev, not so long ago such an agreement was concluded with the Investigation Committee of the Russian Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan."Such interaction will be useful in during the two-month sanitary and ecological campaign, and its results will be seen in the nearest future", acknowledged the Minister.
