Dear geologists and veteran exploration geologists!

I would like to cordially congratulate you on your professional holiday - Geologists Day!

                Traditionally, the holiday of those whose unique profession unites romanticism, deep knowledge and devotion to the cause is celebrated in our country on the first Sunday of April.

         Today's geology is a highly developed scientific field that includes powerful geological-geophysical complex, modern computer technologies, and, what is more important, highly trained professionals who pass their knowledge and traditions on to the young generation, which can be proved by the worldwide recognition of the Tatar School of Geologists.

                Tatarstan enjoys the richest stocks of natural resources. But they would be nothing without efforts of many generations of pioneer geologists who worked for the general welfare of our motherland. They sustained all the hardships of the camp life. Owing to their expertise, courage, careful attitude to the motherland, the basis was formed for successful development of the mineral resources base of the country.                                                                                                                                               I am sure that owing to your efforts, devotion to the cause and profession, all the existing stocks of mineral resources will continue to be efficiently used in Tatarstan, and new deposits will be discovered.

                I wish you strong health, good celebratory mood, unquenchable vital power, and assurance in tomorrow!
