Snow was deposited on Almetyevsk landfill in breach of the ecological requirements

Inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted a raid in Almetyevsk and revealed that snow was deposited on Almetyevsk snow landfill in breach of the ecological requirements - no sanitary and epidemiological certificate was available. It was established that the MUE "GUAD" failed to comply with the ecological requirements related to the landfill use - a watertight barrier was absent. In the course of the territory inspection, experts of the Central Inspection of Analytical Control of the South-Eastern Territorial Department sampled snow, and the results showed exceedance in the content of iron, aluminum, and oil products. To that extent, two protocols were drawn up against the legal entity according to Article 8.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Failure to comply with ecological requirements in the course of urban development activity and operation of companies, constructions or other facilities").
Comprehensive exercises aimed at working out actions in case of emergency oil spills were held in the Zainsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In 11 months, 5,691 messages were received at the Republican Public Environmental Reception. Of these, 5,315 appeals are 93.3% of all received appeals, which have already been resolved.
During a survey of the territory of the Privolzhsky district of Kazan, inspectors from the Central Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan recorded violations of environmental legislation.
At school No. 5 in Aznakaevo, an environmental lesson "Earth is our home" was held, organized by inspectors of the Priiksky Department for 1st grade students.
