The #ECOspring started in the Republic. Ecological specialists intensified their efforts.
The two-month sanitary and ecological campaign started today in the Republic of Tatarstan with the lineup of the inspectorial staff of the Ministry of Ecology. The Minister for Ecology, Farid Abdulganiev, addressed the colleagues saying that the key tasks included operative detection and liquidation of the sites of unauthorized waste placement. "The work with citizens of the Republic requires great attention, emphasized the Minister, - and each citizens' address received by the public ecological reception office will be under special control". One of such addresses was received today from citizens of Sovetsky district of Kazan. Inspectors of the Central Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan registered today a violation of the nature protection legislation pertaining to the management of consumption and production waste on 3a Kirpichnikova str. near the nursery. The residents of the nearby houses reported unauthorized landfill that formed following demolition and removal of ramshackle constructions. Garages were demolished in December, but the waste is still there. At present, inspectors are to identify the company servicing the given territory in order to implement the measures of administrative influence and to oblige the given company to correct the breach. The landfill has already been entered into the "Ecological map of the Republic of Tatarstan" using the "Mobile automated inspector's workstation" app. Another offense was registered on the territory of Admiralteyskaya Sloboda. A garage construction co-operative "Berezhok" is located here on May 1st str., where an unauthorized landfill formed near the water protection area. As a reminder, special attention will be paid to the sanitary and ecological state of Admiralteyskaya Sloboda - it is planned to implement the project "Ecological reclamation of the 'Admiralteysky' pond in Kazan" here.
