A concluding meetingwas held today in Kazan tocheck the readiness of municipal units for the two-month sanitary and ecological campaign

Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan – Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan for Environment Protection, Fayaz Shakirov, held the concluding meeting today at the Executive Committee of Kazan for the representatives of Kazan, Verkhny Uslon, Vysokaya Gora, Zelenodolsk, Saby,  Laishevo, Rybnaya Sloboda, Pestretsy, Tyulyachi districts of the Republic.As a reminder, zonal meetings with representatives of municipal units are held by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan to check their readiness for the two-month sanitary and ecological campaign.

  The matters of effective holding of the two-month sanitary and ecological campaign were discussed during the event; the problems were reviewed and the tasks were set.Deputy Minister for Ecology, Fayaz Shakirov, urged all the officials of municipal units to take seriously thetwo-month sanitary and ecological campaign and put the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan into proper state after snow cover melting.

The two-month sanitary and ecological campaign in theRepublic of Tatarstan starts on April 1st, and mass Saturday work campaigns for cleaning the territories will be held all over Republic in the framework thereof. Admiralteyskaya Sloboda will be one of the key sites for holding the large-scale campaign in the Republic of Tatarstan. Fellow workers of theMinistry of Ecology, representatives of Kirovsky and Moscovsky regions of Kazan, students, volunteers, and representatives of public organizations will clean the territories from trash and will put the area into proper sanitary state. Anyone who feels like it can participate in the Saturday work campaign – prizes and souvenirs are envisaged for the most active participants.
