A report was received by the Trans-Kama Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan on unauthorizeddischarge of liquid waste on to the soil. A citizen of Nizhnekamsk caught on video how a motor vehicle,namely a sewage pipe cleaner, illegally discharged liquid waste, thus inflicting damage on the nature. Inspectors conducted administrative investigation and identified the offender. A protocol was drawn up against him in compliance with Article 8.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation for the failure to comply with ecological and sanitary & epidemiologicalrequirements in the course of management of production and consumption waste.The Trans-Kama Specialized Inspection for Analytical Control drew the soil samples using a mobile ecological laboratory to carry out further analyses. A citizen reporting on such a violation will receive 1,500 rubles.
As a reminder, monetary remuneration will be paid out to those citizens who provide operative information on the violations of the nature protection legislation with photo or video registration of the violation.
