The fact of illegal extraction of common mineral resources (clay) on the territory of a “wild” quarry located at a distance of 4 km to the south-east of Kulsharipovo village was revealed today by inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Department in the course of the state ecological monitoring of the ecological situation in Almetyevsk district. Fellow workers of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan found an excavator at a quarry development site, which was extracting and loading clay on to KAMAZ trucks. An administrative case was initiated, the protocol of the territory inspection was drawn up, and the parameters of the damaged land plot were measured. Clay was extracted on the area of 1.5 thousand square meters, and the mean depth of a quarry was 5 meters. The offenders will be held liable in compliance with Article 7.3 part 1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federationand in compliance with Article 8.6 part 1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation– Unauthorized removal or transportation of the fertile soil layer.
