Meet the Planet half-way–ecological specialists urge to participate in the “Earth Hour” campaign

Tomorrow, on March 19th, ecological specialists urge the citizens of Tatarstan to participate in the international campaign “Earth Hour”. To participate, it suffices to turn off the light and electrical devices for 1 hour – from8:30 pmto9:30 pm. As a rule, the citizens of Tatarstan also take active part in the campaign. On this day, participants of the sports race will gather at the Kremlin quay, moreover, architectural and decorative highlighting of the Reserve Museum “Kazan Kremlin” in Kazan will be switched off during the campaign along with lighting of buildings of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan and the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Big Concert Hall named after Salikh Saydashev, and the IT-park. Kazan Town Hall will also join the campaign by switching off illumination of buildings of district administrations and Kazan City Hall. Moreover, the campaign will also be joined by sports and large hotel and entertainment complexes “Korston” and “Grand Hotel Kazan”, andlarge tradecenters will turn the lights down low for an hour. Population of all municipal units will participate in the campaign along with more than 500 companies, organizations, ministries, authorities, and institutions of the Republic.
