Ecological specialists took active part in the meeting devoted to reunification of the Crimea and Sevastopol with Russia

A meeting-concert “We are together” was held today in Kazan at the Millennium Square near the central Stadium, and it was devoted to the second anniversary of reunification of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol with Russia.Participants of the event weregreeted by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan VasilShaykhraziev, Deputy Chairperson of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Yury Kamaltynov, the mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Chairperson of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Tatarstan, Tatyana Vodopyanova, Head of Bakhchisaray district of the Republic of Crimea – Chairperson of Bakhchisaray district Council of the Republic of Crimea, Refat Derdarov, and others.Fellow workers of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of public movements, public patriotic organizations, political parties, students of higher educational establishments, leading performing groups and performers of Tatarstan, and others also took active part in the meeting. According to the data of the Tatar Ministry of Internal Affairs, more than 12 thousand people participated in the meeting-concert. The event ended with performance of the leading creative performance groups and performers of Tatarstan.

         As a reminder, on March 16, 2014 with high turnout (82.71%) the citizens of the Crimea(96.77%) and Sevastopol (95.6%) voted for reunification with Russia. From the very beginning, Tatarstan has been actively helping in the developmentof the peninsula, it shares its experience, makes its contribution into sustainable development of a new Russian region. In spring 2014, citizens of our Republicwere excited to hold the plebiscite in the Crimea, and they acclaimed enthusiastically the decision of the citizens of the Crimea to become part of Russia.
