The results of work in 2015 were summarized today at the Trans-Kama Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan with participation of Deputy Minister, Fayaz Shakirov. The main efforts of the territorial department were concentrated on solution of top-priority tasks in the field of ecological safety assurance and rational use of natural resources, including:
- optimization of the state ecological control;
- decrease in the negative impact on the air state;
- control over proper operation of nature protection facilities;
- protection of land resources;
- participation in the ecological enlightenment of the youth studying at educational establishments;
- participation in the implementation of municipal programs regarding nature protection.
The main trend of activity of the Department implies the state ecological surveillance on the territory of the Trans-Volga Regionincluding Apastovo, Buinsk, Drozzhanovo, Kaybitsy, Kamskoe Ustye, and Tetyushi districts of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Over2015, state inspectors of the Trans-Volga Territorial Departmentcarried out 352 inspections in the framework of the state ecological surveillanceto monitor compliance with the requirements of the nature protection legislation. All in all, 45 complaints and addresses of citizens were reviewed.
In the course of inspection of facilities on the territory of the region, 412 violations of the nature protection legislation were revealed, whereof 368 have already been eliminated, which makes up 89%.
The work on implementation of nature protection events has been carried out on the territory of municipal districts:reconstruction of central parks in Buinsk, Tetyushi and Kamskoe Ustye, landscaping of the district center Drozzhanoe, reclamation of quarries in Drozzhanoe, Kamskoe Ustye districts, development of project documentation for capital repairs of the wastewater facilities–a dam on the Birlya River near Afanasyevka village, as well as park beautificationin the urban type settlement Kamskoe Ustye.
