Inspectors of the Trans-Volga Territorial Department caught the offender red handed

Today, inspectors of the Trans-Volga Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan witnessed violation of the nature protection legislation. The owner of a KAMAZ truck discharged production and consumption waste on the roadside of the Buinsk-Tetyushi highway. The area of the unauthorized landfill made up 6 sq.m., and its extent amounted to 5 cubic meters. An administrative protocol was drawn up against the offended according to Article 8.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation “Failure to comply with ecological and sanitary & epidemiological requirements in the course of handling of production and consumption waste, the substances destroying the ozone layer, and other hazardous substances”.

Moreover, monetary remuneration is paid to the citizens who have provided operative information regarding violations of the nature protection legislation with photo or video registration of such.
Comprehensive exercises aimed at working out actions in case of emergency oil spills were held in the Zainsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In 11 months, 5,691 messages were received at the Republican Public Environmental Reception. Of these, 5,315 appeals are 93.3% of all received appeals, which have already been resolved.
During a survey of the territory of the Privolzhsky district of Kazan, inspectors from the Central Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan recorded violations of environmental legislation.
At school No. 5 in Aznakaevo, an environmental lesson "Earth is our home" was held, organized by inspectors of the Priiksky Department for 1st grade students.
