The fines in the amount up to 250 thousand rubles will be imposed on the entrepreneurs who failed to submit the reports on waste formation.

Today was the last day for official submissionof reports by small and medium businesses on waste management. Considering the fact that the time frame established by the legislation has expired, the administrative action will be taken against the entrepreneurs failed to submit the reportsin compliance with Article 8.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation“Failure to comply with ecological and sanitary-epidemiological requirements in the course of management of production andconsumption waste, as well as the substances destroying the ozone layer, or other hazardous substances”. The fines are to be imposed in the following amount:

  • On officials – in the amount varying from 10,000  to 30,000 rubles;
  • On the persons conducting entrepreneurial activity with no corporate status - in the amount varying from 30,000 to 50,000 rubles, or administrative suspension of activity for up to 90 days;
  • On legal entities - in the amount varying from 100,000 to 250,000 rubles, or administrative suspension of activity for up to 90 days.

 

Asareminder, theentrepreneursofsmallandmediumbusinessesaretosubmitthereportsonformation, use, deactivation, andplacementofwasteformedasaresultofeconomicorotheractivity, by giving a notice,to the state authorities in compliance with Article 18 of the Federal Law “On production and consumption waste”.  Smallandmediumbusinessesliable to the regional state ecological surveillance are to submit their reports to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan on the annual basis before March 1st.
