Fellow workers of the laboratory of the Ministry of ecology told the students of the Energy University about the methods of eco-analytical control

The students of the faculty of Engineering Ecology and Rational Nature Use familiarized today with the activity of the Central Specialized Inspection of Analytical Control under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Fellow workers of the laboratory gave a tour around various departments of the Inspection. They showed operation of the chromatographic complex aimed at quality analysis and assay of organic and inorganic gaseous, liquid and certain solid samples, various items of natural and industrial origin by gas chromatography. They also told about sampling and analysis of samples of natural and sewage waters, soil, air and industrial discharges, familiarized with physical and chemical analytical methods, as well as biotesting and hydrobiological test methods. Moreover, a mobile ecological laboratory for sampling and analysis of air samples was also demonstrated to the students, and the principle of its practical operation was described. The meeting was held in the framework of interaction between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan State Energy University to form the ecology-oriented mindset in the young generation and to provide students with career guidance.
